Recent arrivals to our hire stock are several Smoke Factory "Scotty" smoke machines. These miniature units feature battery or mains power, variable output and radio remote operation! Ideal for use in mobile set pieces, to hide in a prop bonfire or fire breathing dragon! You'll be surprised at the smoke output too. Use the force Luke! Joining the ranks of our smoke machine fleet are six Smoke Factory Sky walker smoke machines. These rack-mounting units feature twin smoke nozzles to give high output with minimal noise. Need more power still? Simply add more Sky walkers to build a machine to suit your requirements. Three machines in a case effectively gives six smoke generators, all controlled by 0-10V remote, with awesome power, and you can have that twice! Ask for a demonstration, you'll be blown away! Warehouse expansion. As regular customers will know, we make every possible use of space in our warehouse, but it just became impossible to squeeze any more in! URGENT SAFETY ANOUNCEMENT Do you own any dimming equipment manufactured before 1990? If so, it is vital that it has had a capacitor health-check, as many units contain components which may fail in use causing TOXIC SMOKE, FIRE and ELECTRICAL HAZARD. These components were subject to a manufacturers notice to the effect that all suspect items be replaced with new ones of improved specification. Many units still contain these potentially hazardous components, even those that have been regularly serviced as a large number of people were un-aware of the problem. We have recently been asked to repair a number of dimmers which have failed due to these components. Here are some images showing the damage on one particular dimmer rack. This dimmer was a write-off. the inside of the unit is covered in thick soot, a sign of just how much noxious smoke must have been emitted. DOWNLOAD INFO SHEET
