Point Source Productions has gone from strength to
strength since last year’s ABTT show and has seen expansion across 3
main departments: Equipment Hire, Equipment Service and Event
Production.
Equipment Hire
The Equipment Hire department constantly adds to its hire stock to
ensure customers have a wide choice of top quality equipment to
facilitate their projects. Point Source Productions emphasises the
importance of presenting its hire equipment in the best condition
possible. “We believe our customers deserve the same high standard
of equipment in theatre projects as they would expect in corporate
events and we pride ourselves in prepping and delivering our
equipment in excellent condition,” says Point Source Productions
Managing Director, Stephen Capel.
Equipment Service
Launched at ABTT 2009, the Equipment Service department is staffed
by technicians who have practical experience in using the products
in ongoing projects. “This hands-on approach ensures our team
understands how each piece of equipment is used, its key features,
and where those dreaded weak spots may lurk,” explains Capel. “All
good experience when ensuring items are kept in full working order
and ready to go.” Everything from a single repair to full annual
service contracts are handled by this busy department.
Event Production
The Event Production department provides equipment, expertise and
manpower for projects ranging from theatrical to corporate events. A
full range of event services is available from the supply of a
single piece of kit to full turnkey solutions. “Our skilled staff
form a solid foundation on which we can build a successful event,
tailoring solutions to suit individual needs,” says Capel.
Point Source Productions prides itself on its approachability and
attention to detail. Customers benefit from the experience of its

As a result, the company has recently achieved ISO 9001: 2008
quality control accreditation status
assuring customers of its high standards of practise in all
equipment preparation, H&S,
staff training and customer care procedures.

Company Rebranding
The occasion has been marked by the introduction of a new company
branding which it reveals for the first time at ABTT.
